href=\"https:\/\/business.facebook.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">business.facebook.com<\/a>. We have a separate article on <a href=\"https:\/\/roihacks.com\/how-to-create-a-facebook-ad-account\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">how to create a Facebook ad account<\/a>, so in this article, we will cover the first two.<\/p>\n<p>The process of adding a Facebook ad account to your Facebook Business Manager is actually really simple:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In your Facebook Business Manager, go the <a href=\"https:\/\/business.facebook.com\/settings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Business Settings<\/a><\/li>\n<li>You will see a sidebar on the left, Under the Accounts section, click on Ad accounts<\/li>\n<li>If you have already Ad accounts connect to this Business Manager, you will those ad accounts listed here. If you want to add a new Ad accounts, click on Add as shown in the picture below<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you haven\u2019t added an Ad account to this Facebook BM yet, then you will see another screen, but you should click on the Add button in the same way<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>After clicking on the Add button, you can see that you have three options to choose from.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-346 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/roihacks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Add-a-Facebook-Ad-Account-to-your-Facebook-Business-Manager.png\" alt=\"Add a Facebook Ad Account to your Facebook Business Manager\" width=\"630\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/roihacks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Add-a-Facebook-Ad-Account-to-your-Facebook-Business-Manager.png 630w, https:\/\/roihacks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Add-a-Facebook-Ad-Account-to-your-Facebook-Business-Manager-300x159.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 630px) 100vw, 630px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>You can add a Facebook Ad account that you own, you can request access to an Ad Account that is owned by another business, or create a new Ad Account. In this case, click on \u2018Add on Ad Account&#8217;<\/li>\n<li>Paste the ID of your Add account and click on \u2018Add Ad Account\u2019. Now your Business Manager will own that Ad account and you won\u2019t be able to remove it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_request_access_to_an_Ad_Account_in_Business_Manager\"><\/span>How to request access to an Ad Account in Business Manager?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you are a freelancer or an agency and run Facebook advertising for clients, you can also request access to a FB Ad Account owned by another business.<\/p>\n<p>The process of requesting an Ad Account from the Business Manager is the same as we have outlined above until step number 4. We will continue from there:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>Instead of Add Ad Account, click on \u2018Request Access to an Ad Account\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>First, you have to add your primary Facebook page.<\/li>\n<li>Next, type the ID of the Ad Account you are requesting access to.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-347 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/roihacks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Request-Access-to-Ad-account.png\" alt=\"Request Access to Ad account\" width=\"583\" height=\"472\" srcset=\"https:\/\/roihacks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Request-Access-to-Ad-account.png 583w, https:\/\/roihacks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Request-Access-to-Ad-account-300x243.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 583px) 100vw, 583px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you don\u2019t know the ID of your Facebook ad account, you can do the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Contact the owner of the Ad account. Here are all the steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to the Business Settings page of your Facebook Business Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Click Accounts then Instagram Accounts on the left.<\/li>\n<li>If you have an Instagram business account already added to the BM, you can add additional ones in the upper left corner by clicking on the Add button. If you haven\u2019t added any Instagram accounts to the Facebook Business Manager yet, you will see the \u2018Add\u2019 button in the middle of the page.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0The following popup will appear, where you should click to &#8216;Connect your Instagram Account&#8217;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-356 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/roihacks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Add-an-instagram-Account-to-Facebook-Business-Manager.png\" alt=\"Add an Instagram Account to Facebook Business Manager\" width=\"463\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/roihacks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Add-an-instagram-Account-to-Facebook-Business-Manager.png 463w, https:\/\/roihacks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Add-an-instagram-Account-to-Facebook-Business-Manager-300x145.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 463px) 100vw, 463px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">5. You will see both your Facebook page and your Instagram account here, where you can click on \u2018Add Account\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>As your Instagram Business account has been added to your BM, you can now add people, assign partners and add assets to the Instagram account.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_claim_or_request_access_to_a_Facebook_Page_in_Facebook_Business_Manager\"><\/span>How to claim or request access to a Facebook Page in Facebook Business Manager?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Once again, the process of adding or claiming a Facebook Page to your Business Manager or requesting access to it is pretty similar to what we have done with Facebook ad accounts.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to add a Business Page to your Business Manager or request access to a Page, you have to go through the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to <a href=\"http:\/\/business.facebook.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">business.facebook.com<\/a> and click on the relevant Facebook Business Manager.<\/li>\n<li>From the drop-down menu, choose \u2018Business Settings\u2019<\/li>\n<li>On the left side of the screen, click on \u2018Accounts\u2019 then on \u2018Pages\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>Click on Add and select \u2018Add a Page\u2019 or \u2018Request Access to a Page\u2019 as you can see below.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-357 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/roihacks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Add-or-Request-Access-to-a-Facebook-page-from-Facebook-Business-Manager.png\" alt=\"Add or Request Access to a Facebook page from Facebook Business Manager\" width=\"361\" height=\"228\" srcset=\"https:\/\/roihacks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Add-or-Request-Access-to-a-Facebook-page-from-Facebook-Business-Manager.png 361w, https:\/\/roihacks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Add-or-Request-Access-to-a-Facebook-page-from-Facebook-Business-Manager-300x189.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 361px) 100vw, 361px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Whichever you chose, you have to add the name of the Business Page or the URL of the Business page.
