When you start advertising on Facebook, you will probably need to view and collect your Facebook ads receipts and invoices.

Facebook ads invoices vs Facebook ads receipts
Just to clarify: When you use manual payment or automatic payments to pay for Facebook ads charges, you will get Facebook ads receipts. You can also pay for Facebook ads with monthly invoicing in which case you don’t get receipts, s Facebook issues Facebook ads invoices then.
In this tutorial, we are going to focus on Facebook ads receipts as the majority of advertisers will get receipts.
How to find and view Facebook receipts?
Here is how to view your Facebook ads receipts:
- Open the Facebook Ads Manager
- Click on ‘Billing’ from the menu.
- Here you will find all the receipts Facebook has issued.
You can filter the Facebook receipts by date, payment status, payment method, amount, campaign name, ad set name etc. so it is easier to find one specific receipt.
To view a specific Facebook ads receipt, click on the Transaction ID of the receipts. Or you can also download one or multiple Facebook receipts as we will show in the next section.
How to download Facebook ads receipts?
Here is how you can download a Facebook ads receipt:
- Open the Facebook Ads Manager
- Click on ‘Billing’ from the menu.
- Here you will find all the receipts Facebook has issued.
- Clicking on the Download icon on the receipt you want to download.
You can also download a summary of all receipts by clicking on the Download button, then selecting either ‘Download Report (PDF)’ or ‘Download Report (CSV)’
To download all Facebook ads receipts at once, click on ‘Download all transactions’ (PDF) from the dropdown menu.

Can’t download Facebook ads receipts
If you can’t download or even view the Facebook ads receipts your business has received from Facebook, you should check the Facebook Ad account role you have.
Only Facebook ad account admins or finance analysts can have access to the Facebook Billing section and download Facebook invoices or receipts from the Ad Account.
