How To Feature Other Channels On YouTube?
Here is how to feature channels on your YouTube channel page:
- Open YouTube Studio.
- Click on ‘Customization’
- Click on ‘Add section’.
- Select ‘Featured channel’
- Add a Section title.
- Select the Featured channels.
- Click on ‘Done’
- Click on ‘Publish’
When you check the YouTube channel home page, you should be able to see the Featured Channel list now.
Why should you feature other channels on your YouTube channel
There are several benefits to featuring other channels on YouTube.
1. You can promote your other YouTube channels
If you have multiple YouTube channels that are related in some ways, then it makes sense to cross-promote these channels.
A great example for this is Mr. Beast, who promotes the majority of his channels on all his YouTube channels.
2. You can cross-promote channels to get more subscribers
If you have a YouTube friend or anyone who has a YouTube channel that is similar to yours and your YouTube fans would find each other’s channel interesting then you can use the Featured channel list to cross-promote each other’s channel.
He or she would add your YouTube channel to the Featured YouTube channel list and you would do the same with his or her channel. Win-win.
This is a free and easy way to promote your YouTube channel for free and build some relationships with fellow YouTubers.
3. Promote other channels that are not related but you enjoy
Even if you don’t have multiple channels or any channel that you would like to cross-promote, you can still feature YouTube channels that you find valuable and you think that your subscribers would also enjoy.
Can’t add a featured channel to my YouTube channel
You should be able to add as many featured YouTube channels to your channel page as you want.
The most frequent issue is that people forget to click on the ‘Publish’ button once they added the Featured Channels.
So it seems like they can’t add the Featured Channels when they should just click on the ‘Publish’ button to finalize the new YouTube channel look.
You might also have to refresh the YouTube channel page to be able to see the featured YouTube channels on the channel home page.
Where can you find other Featured channels?
You should be able to find the Featured Channels in two places on your YouTube channel.
First, you can see the featured channel list somewhere on the Home page of your YouTube. If you don’t like the existing placement, you can customize it by going to the Customization page of YouTube Studio.
Also, your YouTube channel visitors and subscribers will be able to check your Featured YouTube channels on the Channels tab of your YouTube channel.
How to get rid of featured channels from YouTube channel?
