How to hide Instagram posts from everybody?
If you want to hide Instagram posts from your profile but you don’t want to delete them here is how you can do that:
- Search for the Instagram post that you want to hide
- Tap on the three dots in the top right corner
- Select the ‘Archive option’.
- The Instagram post then will be immediately hidden from the public
This post won’t be seen in the Instagram feed anymore and it won’t be visible on your Instagram profile as well.
What happens when you hide Instagram posts?
As opposed to deleting Instagram posts, when you hide Instagram posts you can still see them so you can hide them from the public without deleting them permanently.
First, you can access your hidden Instagram posts by doing the following:
- Open up your Instagram profile
- Tap on the ‘Hamburger’ menu in the right corner
- Then select ‘Archive’.
- Here you will be able to see all your Instagram posts that have been hidden from your Instagram account.
Then you can unhide these hidden Instagram posts or delete them:
- Tap on the three dots on the Instagram post that you want to unhide.
- Select ‘Show on profile’ if you want to unhide or ‘Delete’, if you want to delete it.
How To Hide Instagram Posts From Certain Followers/one person?
If you want to hide Instagram posts from certain followers, you basically have three options:
- Switch back to personal Instagram and make your account private
When you have a personal Instagram account then you can make the Insta account private in which case you can approve the people who can follow you. With a professional business Instagram account, you won’t be able to make your Insta account private.
- Add people to your Closed Friends list
- Block certain users.
How To Hide Instagram Post From One Person?
If you want to hide your Instagram post from one person or only from a couple of Instagram users, then the easiest thing you can do is to block the user.
