To access the billing history on your LinkedIn ads account, you must first sign in to the Campaign Manager Ads account and follow the following steps:

  1. Once signed in, click the ad account name you want to view.
  2. From the upper right corner of the page, click “Ad Account Name” and choose billing center from the dropdown menu.
  3. A summary of the billing activity and credits will be shown in the “Billing Activity” section.

The billing frequency depends on how ad spend accumulates. It can be daily, weekly, or monthly. If your account is in another currency, the billing amount is irregular since it depends on the exchange rate. The copies of receipts will only be available for 11 months, beyond this period, only the billing admin can access older receipts through LinkedIn Purchase History.

How To Download LinkedIn Ads Receipts?

The billing history can be reviewed by anyone who has access to Campaign Manager, while the billing admins, as well as account managers, do the printing and downloading of the receipts.

Downloading of receipts is in PDF format if you chose to get individual receipts for each charge, and PDF or CSV format if you want to get a billing summary.

To get a copy of the LinkedIn Ads receipts, do the following steps:

  1. Click “Receipts” on the Billing Activity segment.
  2. Choose the date range you wanted to download.
  3. On the receipts table, click the “Export Receipts” and complete the details in the window.

You can select the date range of your choice as well using the “Custom” button on the dropdown on the top of the receipts table.

Once you have downloaded your receipts, you can now print them and file your hard copies.

Update LinkedIn Ads Payment Method

Credit card information is very confidential, and you would not want anyone to have access to it. Same with the downloading and printing LinkedIn Ads receipt, only the billing admin is allowed to do this action. Here is a step-by-step guide to edit or add on billing information:

Access the Campaign Manager.

  1. Click on the account name and choose “Billing Center” from the dropdown menu.
  2. From the billing center page, click “Manage Credit Card”. You may also click “Add Credit Card” if you are using the credit card for the first time.
  3. Click “Edit” and enter the changes that you want for the new billing information.
  4. Confirm payment method updates by clicking “Change”.

Credit Card payment is the standard payment method for those who use Campaign Manager in managing and running campaigns.

Another payment method available is invoicing which allows you to run ads for 30 days, after this period, an invoice will be sent for payment. However, not everyone qualifies for this payment method. Only those who spend $3,000 a month for 2 months consecutively qualify for the invoicing method.

It allows you to have a budget for your ads within your approved spending limit during your application and credit check process.

For those who were not able to pay due to technical errors on the LinkedIn credit card payment system, customers may opt to use a one-time invoice payment. To do this, you need to contact LinkedIn’s Billing Support to request for one-time payment on an individual invoice.

Once approved, you will receive the payment link and follow the next instructions for credit card payment. Once completed, you will receive an email confirmation of the successful payment, which will be reflected in the account within 48 hours.
