One of the best ways to keep your Facebook profile timeline clean is to restrict the people who can post on your Facebook timeline.

In this Facebook marketing tutorial, we are going to show you how to turn on Facebook Timeline Review and how to approve posts that you need to review.

Who can post on my Facebook Timeline?

By default, every friend who tags you on a Facebook post will appear on your Facebook timeline, on your personal news feed.

However, if you want to review all tagged Facebook posts, you can do that by turning on Facebook timeline review.

Also, if someone is not a Facebook friend, then his Facebook post where you are tagged will be automatically moved to posts to be reviewed even if you have not turned on Timeline Review.

How to review your Facebook Timeline settings?

To review your Facebook Timeline settings:

1. Open up Facebook.
2. Click on the ‘down arrow’ in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Select ‘Settings & privacy’ then click on ‘Settings’.
4. First, click on ‘Privacy’ in the left column
5. Then on ‘Profile and Tagging’ in the left column again.
6. Here you will see all the settings that currently apply to your profile

How to turn on Facebook Timeline review?

To turn on Facebook Timeline review:

1. Open up Facebook.
2. Click on the ‘down arrow’ in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Select ‘Settings & privacy’ then click on ‘Settings’.
4. First, click on ‘Privacy’ in the left column
5. Then on ‘Profile and Tagging’ in the left column again.
6. On the ‘Review posts you’re tagged in before the post appears on your profile’ section, click on ‘Edit’
7. Change it to ‘Enabled’.

Now, you will have the opportunity to review Facebook posts that you are tagged in.

How to approve posts that need to be reviewed?

Once you turned on the Facebook timeline review, you need to approve Facebook posts by friends you are tagged in.

 How to disable the Facebook Timeline review?

If you change your mind and you want the tagged posts to automatically appear on your Facebook page, you can easily turn off Facebook timeline reviews like so:

1. Open up Facebook.
2. Click on the ‘down arrow’ in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Select ‘Settings & privacy’ then click on ‘Settings’.
4. First, click on ‘Privacy’ in the left column
5. Then on ‘Profile and Tagging’ in the left column again.
6. On the ‘Review posts you’re tagged in before the post appears on your profile’ section, click on ‘Edit’
7. Change it to ‘Disabled’.
