Step 1: Log in to Linkedin on Desktop

Go to www.linkedin.com on your laptop or desktop and enter your username and password to access your account.

If the search bar at the top does not bring up your company page, it is situated in the upper right corner of your desktop.

You’ll now see a list of all of your friends who don’t follow your page so that you can get them on board. It is recommended that you set a daily reminder for yourself to invite another 100 people.

You can use the search bar at the top of the page if you have many contacts and only want to invite a few.

You will send notifications to each of the people you’ve asked to follow your page. Then they’ll be one of my followers if they agree!

Tips when inviting people to follow LinkedIn page

If you have a LinkedIn business page, make sure it’s filled out.

Please verify that your LinkedIn company page is up to date before using it.

On your timeline, make sure you’ve included any relevant content. What you post on social media should be interesting to your followers.

There is a daily cap of 50 invitations.

Invite at least 50 people per day until you can no longer invite any more.

Take a look at the people who are most likely to become fans of your page and work your way out from there.

Start with the warmest people and work your way down. Your business profile will already have a following by the time you get there, and those who are colder will be more likely to do the same.

Other ways to Get More Followers on LinkedIn

If your LinkedIn contacts have subscribed to your company page, you’ll want them to participate with your content, which will increase your exposure. Three strategies for improving your following are as follows:

Request that your customers Like Your Page in an Email.

However, many financial advisors overlook this simple step because they believe it is too time-consuming. Your email list should be informed when your business page goes live on LinkedIn. Send them an email with a few of your most recent posts and ask them to follow your page so they can continue to see helpful content like this.

Publish enticing material

It is more likely that your followers will interact with posts that they find interesting or valuable. Whether you’re targeting C-suite executives, small business owners, educators, or doctors, think about your primary LinkedIn target audience and develop content that speaks to the financial challenges they’re facing. As a result of their increased engagement, your posts will appear in their friends’ news feeds.

Expand Your Network at the Personal Level

You can only invite first-degree connections to follow your LinkedIn company page when you ask others to do so. You can only send a LinkedIn invitation if you’ve already connected with a person. Building up your first-degree connections on your page is one way around this.

It’s understandable that, as an advisor, your schedule is already quite full. As a result, we recommend using LinkedHub to automate the daily sending of connection requests without doing anything manually. There are a variety of criteria you can use with LinkedHub to narrow down your audience. It is essential to make sure that you only send invitations to people you want to meet up with. Then, after they’ve accepted your connection request, you can invite them to follow your business page.

For the following reasons, you may not be able to send invitations to others through your LinkedIn account:

  • Many invitations were sent in a short period by you.
  • Many of your invitations may have gone unanswered because they were marked as spam, unread, or unopened.
  • LinkedIn members are limited to a maximum of 30,000 first-degree connections on the site to ensure a smooth user experience. We recommend keeping only the best of your contacts in your network.

We recommend that you only invite people you know and trust to join LinkedIn, according to LinkedIn’s User Agreement or Professional Community Policies.

Important:

  • Invitation limits and restrictions apply to all LinkedIn members, regardless of their status.
  • Restricted access means that you can’t buy or acquire any more invitations while you’re unable to do so.
  • Due to the personal nature of this information, LinkedIn Support is unable to give any information about the type or reason for the invitation limitation on your account.
