First, you can use the free Meta Business Suite account to create Facebook Stories whether you use a Mac or a PC.
Or if you have a lot of Facebook pages you can also use a Social Media scheduler to create a publish multiple Facebook Stories at the same time.
First, let’s see how you can publish Instagram stories without using a mobile phone in the Meta Business Suite.
How to create Facebook Stories from the desktop for free?
Here is to create and share Facebook stories from the desktop:
- Open the Meta Business Suite account.
- Select ‘Posts & Stories’ from the left sidebar.
- Click on ‘Create Story’ in the top right corner
- Click ‘Add Media’ to add images and videos to the story
- Once you have added the images/videos, you can also add

- and the swipe-up link to the story
- Finally, click on ‘Share story’.

Can’t post Facebook Stories from Meta Business Suite
Here are the most common issues that can stop you from posting a Facebook story from a desktop computer.
First, it is possible that you haven’t been switched to the new Meta Business Suite yet, and you are still using the classic Facebook Business Manager. In this case, search for the Facebook Publish Tools, and there you can create the Facebook Stories from your computer.
Secondly, you have to add the Facebook page to the Facebook Business Manager (now called) Meta Business Suite to be able to post Facebook and Instagram stories from the Facebook Publishing Tools.
How to create Facebook Stories from the desktop with social media schedulers?
If you have multiple Facebook pages and Instagram accounts, and you want to post stories to all of them at the same time, you have to use a social media scheduling tool for that.
Most of these will support Facebook page stories but you might have to pay for a premium subscription if you want to post these Facebook stories to multiple pages.
