There are two ways to remove an admin from a Facebook group.
You can either remove the admin role and the person still gets to stay in the Facebook group.
Or you can also completely remove the person from the Facebook group.

How to remove a Facebook group admin?
Here is how to remove a Facebook group admin:
- Open the Facebook group
- Click on ‘Members’ under the group’s cover photo
- You will see a section ‘Admins & Moderators’
- Click on the three dots.
- Click on ‘Remove as Admin’ or ‘Remove as moderator’.
Not the person is no longer an administrator, so she won’t be able to do administrative stuff with the group. But she will still be able to use the Facebook group as you haven’t removed her from the group.
How to remove a Facebook group moderator ?
The process of removing a Facebook group moderator from the group is pretty much the same. Just click on “Remove as moderator” instead of ‘Remove as admin’.
Just like with removing FB group admins, removing someone from a moderator role, doesn’t mean that she will be removed from the Facebook group completely.
Can’t remove a Facebook group admin
If you can’t remove a Facebook group admin, here are the most common issues that stop you from doing so.
First, you need to be a Facebook group admin to be able to assign or remove admin and moderator access. So if you don’t have Facebook group admin access, then you won’t be able to remove other admins or moderators.
Secondly, if you can’t see the person in the list of Facebook group admins and moderator, it means that she is no longer Facebook group admin or she has left the Facebook group completely.
