Here is how to increase the spending limit of your Facebook Ad account:
- Open the Facebook Ads Manager.
- Click on ‘Billing’ from the hamburger menu.
- Click on ‘Payment settings’.
- In the ‘Account Spending limit’ section, click on the three dots.
- Select ‘Change’
- Increase the ad spending limit amount.
- Click on ‘Save’.
With this, you have successfully increased the spending limit of your Facebook ad account. So the Facebook ad campaigns should start running again after around 15 minutes you have made the change to the spending limit.
How to reset the Facebook Ad Account Spending limit?
The second option is to reset the Facebook spending limit, so the ‘Amount Spent’ resets to 0 USD which means that you can spend the complete spending limit amount again before the Facebook ad campaigns would pause again.
Here is how to reset the Facebook ad spending limit:
- Open the Facebook Ads Manager.
- Click on ‘Billing’ from the hamburger menu.
- Click on ‘Payment settings’.
- In the ‘Account Spending limit’ section, click on the three dots.

Last but not least, you can remove the Facebook spending limit completely, so you don’t have to deal with this at all.
