First, before we would show you the actual process, we want to explain two things that are necessary if you want to share Instagram post to Facebook story.
First, you need to have an Instagram business account to be able to do this. If you don’t have an Instagram business account yet, you can find more about how to switch to an Instagram business account in our tutorial:
Secondly, you need to link your Instagram business account to the Facebook page where you want to share the Instagram stories as Facebook stories.

How to share Instagram story to Facebook story?
Once you have switched to an Instagram business account and connected to a Facebook page, you only need one more thing to automatically share Instagram stories to Facebook stories as well.
- Open up your Instagram profile
- Tap on the ‘Hamburger menu’ in the top right corner.
- Tap on ‘Settings’
- Select ‘Sharing to Other App’
- Tap on ‘Facebook’.
- Turn on ‘Automatically Share’ – ‘Your Instagram story’ as you can see on the screenshot below.
So from now on, whenever you share an Instagram story it will be automatically shared to the connected Facebook page as a Facebook story as well.
