Here is how to add the Shop tab to a Facebook page:
- First, you have to enable the Facebook Shop tab on your Facebook page. So open up the Facebook page.
- On the left column, click on ‘Settings’
- Then again on the left, click on ‘Templates and Tabs’.
- Scroll down here and enable the Facebook Groups tab.
- Go back to the homepage of the Facebook page and you should be able to see it now on your Facebook page home screen.
Once you have added the Shop tab to your Facebook page, it might be still be hidden from the Facebook page’s home page.
This is because Facebook only shows the first couple of Facebook page tabs and hides the rest of the Facebook tabs under the dropdown icon.
If you want the Shop tab to show up, you can also reorder the Facebook page tabs in the Settings page.
Reorder the Shop tab to show up first
So to reorder the Facebook Shop tab, or any other Facebook page tabs here is how you can do it:
Just go to the template and tabs page as we have shown above. Here you can change the order of the Groups tabs by dragging and dropping the FB page tabs at the right place.
The other option you have is to remove Facebook page tabs you don’t need.
Can’t add the Shop tab to the Facebook page
Keep in mind that you have to have admin access to the Facebook page if you want to add new Facebook tabs or remove unwanted ones from the Facebook page tab section.
If your access level is lower, you won’t be able to add other Facebook page tabs to the FB page.
