How to add WhatsApp Action button to Facebook page?
Here is how to add the WhatsApp button to the Facebook page:
- Open the Facebook page
- Click on ‘Edit button’ or ‘Add a button’.
- Select ‘Send WhatsApp Message’ button
If your Facebook page is already connected to the Whatsapp account, the WhatsApp Call to action button should be active on the Facebook page.
So from now one when a Facebook page visitor clicks on the button, he will be taken to his WhatsApp to contact your business.

Here is how to add your WhatsApp Business number to the ‘About’ section of your page:
- Open the Facebook page
- Scroll down to the ‘About’ section.
- Click on ‘Edit Page Info’.
- Select the ‘More’ tab.
- Scroll down and select ‘WhatsApp’ account
- Add the username of the WhatsApp account

- Open the Facebook page
- Click on ‘Get messages’ button under the ‘Create post’ button.

- Click on Post to share the post.

- You don’t have admin access to the Facebook page
If you want to add the WhatsApp CTA button to your Facebook page, you have to have an admin access level on the Facebook page. If you are not an admin on the Facebook page (you are an editor, moderator, advertiser, etc.), you can send this tutorial to the admin or ask for admin access on this Facebook business page
- It has already been linked with another Facebook page.
One WhatsApp account can onlí be connected with one Facebook page.
- It is not a WhatsApp Business account
The WhatsApp account should be a business account if you want to connect it with your Facebook page.
