How To Add Donate Button To A Facebook Post?
Here is how to add a Donate extension to the Facebook post:
- Open the Facebook page
- Click on ‘Create post’
- Add your post text and images/video
- Click on the ‘three dots’
- Select ‘Raise money’
- Select your charity/non-profit org.
- Click on ‘Posts’.
When the Facebook post goes live, it now should also include a Donate button extension.
Facebook page followers or anybody else who sees your posts should be able to click on the ‘Donate’ button where they can directly donate to the non-profit organization.
Can’t add Donate extension to Facebook posts
If you follow the instructions above, you should be able to create posts.
Of course, you either have to be a Facebook page admin or Facebook page editor to be able to create posts and add the Donate button to any kind of Facebook page posts.
Remove Donate button from Facebook posts
If want to remove the Donate button or change it to another non-profit, here is what you have to do:
- Go to the Facebook post.
- On the top right corner of the Donate extension, you can see an ‘X’
- Click on it
- Confirm that you want to remove the fundraiser.
