If you are running a Facebook page, a great functionality you have is to pin a post to the top of the Facebook page feed.
In this super short tutorial, we are going to show you how to do this and everything that is related to this.

Pin a post on a Facebook page
So if you want to keep an important post at the first position of your Facebook page fee,d here is how you can do it by pinning the post to the top:
- Open up the Facebook page
- Search for the Facebook post that you want to pin to the top
- Click on the three dots on the top right corner of the Facebook post
- Select here the ‘Pin to Top of page’ option
That’s it, your Facebook post has been pinned to the top of the page.
Unpin a post on Facebook
If you change your mind, you can unpin a Facebook post anytime you want by doing pretty much the same as when you are pinning a post:
- Open up the Facebook page.
- Go to the Facebook post that you have pinned to the top.
- Click on the three dots on the top right corner of the Facebook post
- Select here the ‘Unpin from Top of page’ option.

Pin a Post in a group
You can also pin Facebook posts in your Facebook group if you have the necessary Facebook group role. The process is a little bit different that’s why we have a separate tutorial for it:

Unfortunately, currently there is no way to pin a post on your personal profiled feed.
FAQ – How to pin a post in a Facebook page?
How many Facebook posts can you pin?
You can only pin one Facebook post at a time for Facebook pages. You have a higher limit for Facebook groups.
I can’t pin a Facebook post, why?
You have to be either a Facebook page admin or editor to be able to pin a post, otherwise Facebook won’t show you this option when you click on the three dots.
