How to turn the Profanity filter on a Facebook page?
To turn on the Facebook profanity filter:
- Open the Facebook page.
- Click on ‘Settings’ in the left column
- Under the ‘General’ tab search for ‘Profanity filter’.
- Click on ‘Edit’
- Tick the profanity filter on.
- Click on ‘Save changes’.

Can’t use the Facebook page profanity filter
You have to be a Facebook page admin to be able to turn the profanity filter on or off.
So if you have only moderator access on a Facebook page, you can’t turn on the profanity filter. The same is true for lower-level Facebook page roles. (editor, advertiser, analyst).
