If you want to link your Facebook page and your Facebook Group, or you want to invite your Facebook page fans to like join your Facebook group, first you have to add the Facebook Groups tab to your Facebook page.

Facebook Groups Tab Missing – 2 possible reasons
There are two main reasons why your Facebook page Groups tabs might be missing from your Facebook page.
First, if you haven’t yet enabled the Groups tab on your Facebook page, you won’t be able to access this Facebook page tab. As this is the only option to link a Facebook page to a group from your FB page, you definitely must add this Facebook page tab to your FB page.
How to add Facebook group tab to your Facebook page?
Here is how to a Facebook group tab to a Facebook page:
- First, you have to enable the Facebook group tab on your Facebook page. So open up the Facebook page.
- On the left column, click on ‘Settings’
- Then again on the left, click on ‘Templates and Tabs’.
- Scroll down here and enable the Facebook Groups tab.
- Go back to the homepage of the Facebook page and you should be able to see it now on your Facebook page home screen.
Once you have enabled the Facebook Groups tab, it might seem like that it is still missing from the Facebook page home page.
This is because Facebook only shows the first couple of tabs, the other ones can only be seen by click on the dropdown icon in the tabs row.

It is easy to reorder your Facebook page tabs. Just go to the template and tabs page as we have shown above. Here you can change the order of the Groups tabs by dragging and dropping the FB page tabs at the right place.
The other option you have is to remove Facebook page tabs you don’t need.
Can’t add a Facebook Group tab to my Facebook page
If you can’t add a Facebook Groups tab to a Facebook page, it means you don’t have the necessary access level to your Facebook page. You have to be an admin of the Facebook page tab to add, remove or reorder Facebook page tabs on the Facebook page.
So make sure to get admin access before you would add a Facebook Groups tab to your Facebook page.
